AM I CRAZY??......

Am I crazy or what..... Here I am lamenting about how "unintersting"my life is, blah, blah blah and I am totally forgeting that I am going to PARIS IN THE SPRING!! I mean, how exciting is that. Apparently I have a very short memory or else I like to whine. (I'm blaming it on memory, I don't want to be a whiner). My lovely and generous sister -in-law Karen and I are going to Paris in April or May. (we're still working on the days). And oh yeah, if I didn't mention it - we're not talking Paris Ontario, we're talking Paris France!!

We are doing a whirlwind tour in 7 days. We're planning to stay at B&B's and experience the French lifestyle first hand. It's very exciting. I can hardly wait.

I have had a pretty rough year this year and Karen said, "Let's do it. Let's just go! You and I are going to Paris and kicking up our heels"!! How's that for a good friend and sister. Woohoo!

MY FAVOURITE PHOTO OF ELIJAH

TALK ABOUT A BAD HAIR DAY

Talk about a bad hair day!! The static or something in this climate (snow) has really changed my hair - and not for the better. I thought all you bloggers would enjoy this!

STUCK AGAIN...

AT LEAST THE SNOW IS PRETTY!

IT'S BEGINNING TO SNOW......

Snow, such a beautiful and peaceful thing it is. It blankets the earth, makes everything look clean and fresh. Generally the sun shines brighter, the kid's love it and you can drive your ATV in it. It's awesome...... Unless you are driving a low to the ground rear wheel drive BMW. My "great" little car is absolutely useless in the snow. And believe me it's the car NOT the driver!! Both times we've had the snow I have been grounded for days on end. I can't get out of the driveway. Of course it doesn't help that the driveway is 300' long and we had 8 - 10 inches of snow. It is unbelievably inconvenient and I have the photos to prove it.

Yesterday, I tried to get my car down the driveway BEFORE things got too bad. Well, as you can see, I was clearly unsuccessful. As soon as I'm able I'm making a trip to the auto mall to look at vehicle options. I'm leaning toward the compact SUV's. There are several, the Honda CRV, the Kia Sportage, the Hyundai ??, the Toyota RAV, the Nissan X-trail, the Mazda tribute and of course the Ford Escape. I have heard really good things about the Kia and they are offerring a 5 year warranty. They must think their vehicle will stand the test of time or they wouldn't offer 5 years..... would they? If anyone has any input on this or any of the other SUV's let me know.

Well, I've already been told that I'm a negligent blogger. Apparently I am not updating my blog regularily. But here's the point. Who's even reading my blog??? Nobody except Sarah. Let's face it, the "life and times" of a forty something, not exactly single or married person, is not that interesting. Of course if one doesn't post anything then it's really, really boring.

So in saying that, I will give it the old college try. I'm not that interesting but I have really interesting people in my life so I'll focus on that. And of course the first really amazing person I can think of is my little grandson Elijah. I have some new photos and of course he is adorable!!
